HAPPY BIRTHDAY HITHAM FALAHI. We love you. :P
Well, I am still sick. What's new!?
Aaargh. I hate being sick. ): It feels horrible. Especially when you've been sick for a WEEK long and you have no idea why. (Well yeah, I know why. :P)
The Yarn Affair. Well, you might as well have called IV - St. Anthony Arts and Crafts World for the day. Wooooooooot! Today was alotta fun.
The day started badly, though. FD! FD. Aaargh. Love does not go that way, for the record. (And no one knows what I am talking about. Lol xP)
Then came Physics. I love Physics. xD Today was our first experiment for the quarter: "Dropping Egg-sactly". I love that! We were to construct a parachute that could hold an egg, and when dropped from the second floor, the egg would remain intact. And believe me, that was not an easy task. It took us an hour to make our parachutes. Newspaper, plastic, yarn, popsicle sticks, a rubber band and tape were the only things that we could use. So Shasta and I worked closely (don't we always.) with Jawe, Charlene, Camille, Niño, Yu and Daniela close by. And of course, Mrs. Talens. She's a lot of fun to talk to!
By 8:05, people started dropping their parachutes. Shappy got the first perfect score. We had the same plan :)
Shasta and Bob, too, dropped their parachutes soon after. Shasta's broke, and I mean BROKE. Bob got perfect :) Yu got perfect too. Later on, Niño, Daniela and I went to drop ours as well. And mine landed well. So I went to get it, knowing it was intact. Then when I was cutting off the paper and the yarn, Hitham was about to write the 10/10 on my paper, when I suddenly pushed my scissors into the egg! Aaaargh! I hated that. ]: How stupid was that? So I got 5/10. Ohhhh x( Jawe and Thea got perfect scores too. :P But Niño and I did NOT. Aaargh.
Starting Recess time, we could see the students on the opposite side of the room (Thea, Mej, Gling, Katrina..) using the yarn and making it into little bracelets and anklets. The popsicle sticks were also used to make little squares. (; Naturally, naaliw naman kami. But we just went "oooh" and "ahh" at their creations. Lol
English time, we had a Spelling quiz. *Sigh.* Oyea, I still got it! Ang yabang. But it's nice to know that there is still something I'm good at. *Sigh.*
Math.. hopeless. I have to get working on that.. my grades are horrible. ): That quiz killed everyone (except for some certain few. :p)
Lunch time.. the number of yarn and popsicle stick workers was growing. :)) We could see their creations all around the room, and one person (who will remain unnamed) put some in her hair. Pocahontas daw ba!? x]]
I don't remember what we did during Eco time. ]:
Filipino time was funny tooooo :D We continued the slogan making for Buwan ng Wika. At ito namang si Miel, kinareer ang pagdrawing. =)) She, Hazel, Joma, Hervin, Connie and I enjoyed laughing at each other, since we made up a lot of silly things to laugh about., :)) PASSION IS CHRIST?! Yan po ang mga top sa conduct, (bow).
MUSIC TIME! Yeeeeeeey.. =) After seeing our exam scores, Hazel and I decided to try our hand at the yarn. :P So we took some colors from Thea and started braiding. Hahaha. Then I saw what Hervin was doing-- a quilt?! Woooot?! Marc called it a rag. Hahaha. As if?! Naelibs kami ni Shasta. Haha. So we went to Hervin and he taught us how to do it (although I didn't get it. lol) and for 30 minutes, Hazel, Miel, Hervin and I hung out under the ceiling fan, with Miel as the radio and the three of us attempting to make the quilt. =)) LOL! It's impossible. :P
And if you were to enter our room, you would see many little clusters of people: the image is clear in my mind. :)) In front, Niño, Jerraine, Hitham.. fidgeting with their yarn and laughing out loud (well, in Niño's case. :P). Behind them, Paula, Jane, Fatima and Jawe, attempting to finish Jawe's painting of the Philippines. :P Then behind them, Alyssa, Marc and Kane, laughing their heads off at Miel's voice and Hervin's quilt. =P In front, near the teacher's table were Niño, Yu and Hanna..? Who were discussing the report with Miss Laude. :P Miss Laude too, was making bracelets. Lol. Behind them were Gling's group. Then the four of us, trying hard not to laugh while making our quilts. Then beside us were Joana, Danica, Thea, Mej and Danielle, popsicle-ing. And finally, Bob, Twinkle, Donna, Philip.. laughing as well. :P It was a laughtrip. Hahahaha. I loved that day. :)
